On the first day, you will be asked to stay with your child/ren.

Please ensure that you discuss the pre-school with your child/ren beforehand.

Show your child/ren that you are happy and excited that s/he is starting pre-school. Talk to your child/ren about their new teachers and friends at the pre-school.

All children are different and some settle within a day, others may take longer.

We will work in conjunction with you to settle your child/ren. Persistence, familiarity and a predictable routine are the key.

Dress your child/ren according to the weather conditions.

We provide messy activities at our pre-school, although we do put on aprons, please dress your child appropriately.

No toys of any fighting element will be allowed at our pre-school.

Jewellery and money should not be brought into the pre-school and we will not take responsibility for lost or damaged items.

Personalised clothing

Book Bags

We provide your child with a book bag that has a book and worksheets for your child to do at home.

There is also a Home Reading Scheme which is optional for your child.

Attendance and collection of children

It is important to all children to attend the pre-school five days a week. Please ensure that you arrive on time as late arrivals disrupt the session.

If you arrive later than 09.35am, you will have to wait outside until our "Circle Time" has finished apprx 09.50am.

An adult of 18 years old or over must collect your child/ren.

However, I will only allow your child to leave the premises with adults that you have detailed on their Application Form.

Please let us know of any circumstances, which affect collection of your child/ren.

In an emergency, you can telephone the pre-school on 020 8766 6227 and notify me of the adult collecting your child/ren.

If your child/ren is ill or away on holiday, please let us know as soon as possible.

Kindly note, that any absence needs to be paid for.

If your child is away without an explanation for two weeks, the place will be given to another child.

Fees

Our fees can be paid weekly, fortnightly or monthly and funding is available for three and four year olds.

Kindly note that absent days have to be paid for.

There is also a registration fee to register your child, which is non-refundable. Please note that prompt payment of fees is appreciated as we rely on our fees to pay staff.

Health and Medications.

We like to have healthy and well children at the nursery.

Your child will not be able to cope or enjoy the session if s/he is unwell. Please keep your child at home if s/he is ill.

Please let us know if your child is taking any medication or suffering from an infectious disease
