Norwood Pre-school is a well established pre-school which caters for twenty children.

Our Pre-school offers education and care for children aged two and a half until five years.

Norwood Pre-school is registered with the local Early Years Department and Childcare Partnership and contributes to the Partnership's overall planning to provide education and care throughout the Foundation Stage.

Norwood Pre-school session starts at 9.30am and finishes at 12.30pm.

Our aim is to enhance the development and education of children, under statutory school age, by encouraging parents to understand and provide for the needs of their children through community groups and by;

• Offering appropriate play facilities and training courses, together with the rights of parents to take responsibility for and to become involved in the activities of such groups, ensuring that such groups offer opportunities for all children whatever their race, culture, religion, means or ability.
• Encouraging the study of the needs of such children and their families and promoting public interest in and recognition of such needs in the local areas.
• To work within a framework which ensures equality of opportunity for all children and families.
• Instigating and adhering to and furthering the aim of the Pre-school Learning Alliance.
